With the snow finally melted and the weather warming up, many driving

hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. A great Miata tradition are their gear shifters. A
six-speed with short throws is seemingly drawn into each cog. First gear is good
at 36 mph, second redlines at 61 mph and third hits 88 mph. The 1.5-liter engine
could easily run zero-to-sixty in the just over 7 seconds. The Miata was engineered to thrill and crafted to spoil car enthusiasts, including available
